Technical Crop Manager Cereals / Key Account Manager
Key skills: English upper intermediate, Agronomic education (crop production), sales experience. Key Operational and Administrative Duties: • Identifies the application capacity of existing products and responsible for an effective launch of new products. • Develops a consistent and competitive technical positioning for new products and ensures a continuous innovative technical positioning of existing products. • Ensures implementation and communication of technical focus to the sales force. • Develops and maintains relationship with advisors to present product technical features and illustrate perspectives for development to ensure the inclusion, where possible, of (new) products. • Acts as a technical crop expert on country level. • Ensures planning, execution and proper reporting of field demonstrations and trials for products on the pre-launch phase and those already on the market, working together with the Market Developers and Field Trial Team. • Carries out a competitive benchmarking of products versus key competitive products on the market and versus products being launched. • Guarantees organization of events designed to involve sales organization and Technical Services on a distribution channel level. • Guarantees effective and prompt implementation of technical assistance operations in the event of customer complaints. • Contributes to the Marketing Plan in collaboration with the Crop Manager. General Duties: • Active representation of BASF’s interests. • Behave and insure behavior, comply and insure compliance with BASF Group Vision, Value, guiding Principles and Compliance Code, and in respect of Agrochemical industry “Code of Conduct”. Behave and ensure behavior according to APE Culture pyramid. • Contributing to maintaining the long-term competitiveness of the BASF Group. • Comply and ensure compliance to BASF Group EHS Policy and BC Russia and CIS EHS regulations.
